Really love this place. My mother was Italian and I wish she had been here to enjoy Mother's Day lunch with us today. On such a busy day - and we were a table of 10 - the food came out hot and delicious and the service was wonderful. It has been that way every time we've dined here. Reminds me of dining with my grandparents from Italy. Classic Italian. As good as it gets!

This is a review for Ruggieri's delivery through UberEats. I can't evaluate the food since we didn't receive any. We placed a large order for Mother's Day dinner. The UberEats app confirmed a delivery time, which became later and later. Eventually I called the restaurant, who said they closed earlier and didn't see an order. No food. All other restaurants closed.
Maybe think twice before ordering delivery through this route. -

This is classic Italian as I would expect back in New Jersey or Philly. Great place with a pleasant, professional staff and an attentive charming owner. Much better than the nouvelle imitators around town in the newer places. I like the live piano player for atmosphere, made for a truly pleasant evening. I'll be back to try the veal. Good tiramisu too! Looking forward to my leftover fettucini carbonara for lunch later today.

Great food, great service, old school decor. Not hip, but sometimes you don't care about anything but how good the food is. This place is for those times.

The food is awful Sauce on saltimboca was from a can like turkey gravy and the chicken parm was reheated instead of freshly cooked (kind of mush) When we told the waiter he just said they don't sell much of what we ordered
For these prices I would expect more
I guess since the owner was absent. The staff was just coasting along
